Adjunct Instructors Position for adjunct instructors (part-time instructors) to teach in various disciplines: general studies, prevention education, business, and health sciences. BSMI Instructor Performs classroom and on line instruction and evaluation for baccalaureate level medical imaging students. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Implements departmentally approved learning experiences for students. Assists in development of standards for selection, testing, and graduation of students. Provides academic counseling and advisement to students. Participates in college, division, and departmental meetings and committees, and professional organizations. Participates in continuing education. Maintains an up-to-date syllabus of assigned courses in the Department and with the Academic Dean. Develops educationally sound curriculum designed for on line instruction. Assists Director of Health Science Recruiter with recruitment of students for the BSMI program. Qualifications: Knows subject matter in assigned course. Knows current techniques and methods of instruction and evaluation. Effectively communicates with students, faculty, and staff. Possesses computer literacy skills. Education and/or Experience: Valid ARRT certification in radiography. Masters degree in radiation sciences preferred. Evidence of current practice with a minimum of two years full-time equivalent practice as a radiographer or as an educator in an accredited radiography program. Asst /Assoc. Professor Sports Mgmt/ Program Coordinator This is a full-time faculty position, teaching undergraduate in Sports Management. This position also includes the responsibilities of serving as Program Coordinator for Sports Management and Recreation Management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses in Sport Management that will potentially include; Sport Law, Sport Pedagogy, Sport Administration, Event Management, Facility Design / Maintenance, and other courses related to sport management in the Division of Professional Education. Curriculum development. Course scheduling. Adjunct recruitment. Internship placements / supervision. Other duties as required. Qualifications: Demonstrates effective organizational and time management skills as well as excellent communication skills. Skilled computer proficiency. Education and/or Experience: Master’s Degree required. Earned Doctorate in Sports Management or related discipline preferred. DIRECTOR, DEPARTMENT OF RADIOLOGIC SCIENCES Position serves in the dual role of Departmental Director and Assistant/Associate Professor of Radiologic Science. Oversee and teach relevant courses in the radiologic technology, sonography, cardiovascular technology, and medical imaging programs. Minimum qualifications include a master's degree, active ARRT certification and a minimum of three years experience.
